In this conference, “2014 Chinese meat industry strong enterprises” assessment results were announced, a total of 124 companies were announced, including 27 poultry slaughtering and processing enterprises. It is reported that the national meat industry strong corporate assessment work is held every three years. The assessment is based on the corporate reporting assessment materials, mainly 2013 annual sales-based, with reference to the financial indicators of total corporate assets for two consecutive years, and profits, etc. and according to enterprise quality and safety, and the influence of leading product in the market in certain areas, overall economic efficiency of enterprises and social evaluation. In the assessment, in an open, fair and impartial manner, with the lawyer as witness, the assessment committee evaluated participating businesses from eight items as pigs, cattle, sheep, poultry slaughter and processing, machinery manufacturing meat, meat food additives and condiments, meat packing materials, frozen meat and operating, and arrived at the final decision of selected companies.
