Process difference

Freeze-dried pet treats: Freeze-drying technology is the process of dehydrating food in an extremely low temperature environment in a vacuum state. The moisture will be directly converted from solid to gaseous state, and no intermediate liquid state conversion by sublimation is required. During this process the product retains its original size and shape, with minimal cell rupture, removing moisture and preventing food spoilage at room temperature. The freeze-dried product is the same size and shape as the original frozen material, has good stability, and can be reconstituted when placed in water.

Drying pet treats: Drying, also known as thermal drying, is a drying process that uses heat carrier and wet carrier to cooperate with each other. Usually, hot air is used as heat and wet carrier at the same time. The moisture is then carried away by the air and discharged.

Ingredient difference

Freeze-dried pet treats: Freeze-dried pet food generally uses pure natural livestock and poultry muscles, internal organs, fish and shrimp, fruits and vegetables as raw materials. Using vacuum freeze-drying technology, the microorganisms in the raw materials can be completely killed. And in the production process, only the water is completely extracted, and it will not affect other nutrients. And because the raw materials are thoroughly dried and not easy to deteriorate at room temperature, most freeze-dried pet treats do not add preservatives during the production process.
